〜しかない / 〜ほかない

Formation:

Verb(dict. form) + しかない Verb(dict. form) + (より)ほか(しかたが)ない

There is no other way / have no choice but to. Used with a feeling of resignation when there's no alternative.

もう謝るしかない。

I have no choice but to apologize.

待つほかない。

There's nothing to do but wait.

このまま続けるしかありません。

We have no choice but to continue like this.

自分でやるよりほかない。

I have no choice but to do it myself.

諦めるしかないと思います。

I think we have no choice but to give up.

お金を借りるほかしかたがない。

There's no other way but to borrow money.
