Meaning
Even if ～ were to happen. It indicates that even if the condition in the former clause is met, it does not affect the condition in the latter clause. It is often used together with 'たとえ'.
Examples
たとえ反対されたとしても、私は留学するつもりです。
Even if I am opposed, I intend to study abroad.
準備が間に合わなかったとしたって、やるしかありません。
Even if preparation was not in time, we have no choice but to do it.
たとえ忙しいとしても、朝食は食べたほうがいいですよ。
Even if you are busy, you should eat breakfast.
多少高いとしても、いいものを買いたい。
Even if it's a bit expensive, I want to buy something good.
