と思う

Used to express the speaker's opinion, conjecture, or thought. It is preceded by a sentence in plain form.

明日は雨が降ると思います。

I think it will rain tomorrow.

彼はもう来たと思う。

I think he has already come.

彼女は行かないと思います。

I think she won't go.

彼は日本語ができると思います。

I think he can speak Japanese.

この町は静かだと思います。

I think this town is quiet.

日本の料理は美味しいと思います。

I think Japanese food is delicious.

彼は先生だと思います。

I think he is a teacher.
