Meaning

Indicates a slight, often temporary tendency or feeling that something is currently a bit different from usual.

Note

Used for negative or undesirable states that the speaker currently senses (e.g., 'kaze-gimi' for a touch of a cold). Unlike 'gachi', which describes a frequent habit or objective tendency, 'gimi' often describes a subjective, current feeling or state.
