Meaning
Indicates a strong determination or natural consequence because a certain situation has been decided or become a reality. A formal expression often used for resolve.
Note
Reading: うえは. A stiff, formal expression expressing strong resolve or a sense of duty.

Now that I've decided to do it, I will do my best until the end.
