部長「これからの働き方について、うちの会社でもリモートワークを取り入れるべきかどうか、皆さんの意見を聞きたい。」
Manager: "I'd like to hear everyone's opinions on whether our company should adopt remote work as a way of working in the future."
田中「私は賛成です。家の方が集中できるばかりでなく、通勤にかかる時間も減るからこそ、もっと効率よく働けるはずだと思います。」
Tanaka: "I'm in favor. I believe we should be able to work more efficiently precisely because not only is it easier to concentrate at home, but commute time is also reduced."
鈴木「私は、どちらかといえばオフィスで働くほうがいいですね。リモートワークだと、ちょっとした相談などを他の人にするのが難しいと感じるからです。」
Suzuki: "I'd prefer to work at the office, if anything. This is because I feel it's difficult to have brief consultations with other people when working remotely."
高橋「確かに、鈴木さんの言うとおりに、直接のコミュニケーションがとりにくいかもしれません。でも、週に何回かだけ出社して、残りの日は家で働くという方法はどうでしょうか。」
Takahashi: "Indeed, as Suzuki-san says, direct communication might be hard to maintain. However, how about a method where we come to the office only a few times a week and work from home on the remaining days?"
部長「なるほど。人によってやりやすい環境はそれぞれ違うに決まっているからね。」
Manager: "I see. It's certain that the environment people find easy to work in varies from person to person."
田中「少しずつ試していって、どんな方法が一番いいのかを探していくのがいいのかもしれませんね。」
Tanaka: "It might be good to try things out little by little and search for which method is best."
部長「みんなが働きやすいように、もう少しルールについて色々と話し合っていくことにしよう。」
Manager: "Let's decide to discuss the rules in more detail so that everyone can work comfortably."
