佐藤「課長、今少しよろしいでしょうか。」
Sato: "Section Manager, do you have a moment now?"
課長「ああ、佐藤くん。どうかしたの？」
Section Manager: "Ah, Sato-kun. What's the matter?"
佐藤「実は、先週の会議で配った資料について、大切な報告があるんです。私が見間違えたせいで、売上のデータを少し間違えてしまったようです。」
Sato: "Actually, I have an important report regarding the materials distributed at last week's meeting. It seems that I misread some sales data and made a slight mistake."
課長「えっ、本当？どうしてそんなことになってしまったのかな。」
Section Manager: "Eh, really? How did that happen?"
佐藤「数字を入力する際、別のグループのデータと勘違いしてしまったのがきっかけで、そのまま気づかずに出してしまったからのようです。」
Sato: "It seems that when I was entering the numbers, I mistook them for data from another group and ended up submitting them without realizing it."
課長「なるほど。誰にでもミスは起こるわけだから、しょうがないね。ただ、次からは同じような間違いをしないように、よく確認してほしい。」
Section Manager: "I see. Well, mistakes happen to everyone, so it can't be helped. However, I want you to check carefully from now on so that you don't make the same kind of mistake."
佐藤「申し訳ありませんでした。必ずチェックリストを作るようにして、これからは気をつけていきます。本当にすみませんでした。」
Sato: "I'm very sorry. I'll make sure to create a checklist and be more careful from now on. I'm truly sorry."
