ある所に、お母さん豚と三匹の子豚がいました。一番目のお兄さん豚は、わらで家を作りました。二番目のお兄さん豚は、木で家を作りました。
In a certain place, there lived a mother pig and three little pigs. The first older brother pig made a house out of straw. The second older brother pig made a house out of wood.
三番目の弟豚は、毎日レンガを運んで、とても丈夫なレンガの家を作りました。お兄さんたちは「レンガの家を作るのは大変でしょう。僕たちの家はすぐできましたよ」と笑いました。
The third younger brother pig carried bricks every day and made a very strong brick house. The older brothers laughed, "Making a brick house must be hard. Our houses was finished quickly."
ある日、一番目のお兄さん豚の家に、悪い狼が来ました。狼はふっと息を吹いて、わらの家を壊してしまいました。お兄さん豚は急いで二番目の豚の家に逃げました。
One day, a wicked wolf came to the first older brother pig's house. The wolf gave a huff and a puff and blew down the straw house. The older brother pig hurriedly fled to the second pig's house.
狼は二番目の豚の家にも来ました。そして、ふっと息を吹いて、木の家も壊してしまいました。二匹の豚は、三番目の弟豚の家に逃げました。
The wolf also came to the second pig's house. Then, he gave a huff and a puff and blew down the wooden house too. The two pigs fled to the third younger brother pig's house.
狼は弟豚のレンガの家に来ました。狼は大きく息を吸ってふっと吹きましたが、家は全然壊れません。「煙突から中に入って、子豚を食べたい」と狼は思いました。
The wolf came to the younger brother pig's brick house. The wolf took a big breath and huffed and puffed, but the house did not break at all. "I want to go in through the chimney and eat the little pigs," the wolf thought.
しかし、子豚たちは煙突の下に、お湯がたくさん入った大きな鍋を置いていました。狼は鍋の中に落ちて、熱いお湯で大火傷をしました。
However, the little pigs had placed a large pot filled with plenty of hot water under the chimney. The wolf fell into the pot and was badly burned by the hot water.
狼は泣きながら山へ逃げました。三匹の子豚は、レンガの家の中でずっと幸せに暮らしました。
The wolf fled back to the mountains, crying. The three little pigs lived happily ever after in the brick house.
