ある日、おじいさんが畑にかぶの種をまきました。「甘くて大きなかぶになってください」とおじいさんは言いました。
One day, an old man sowed turnip seeds in his field. "Please become a sweet and large turnip," the old man said.
かぶはとても大きく、立派に育ちました。おじいさんはかぶを抜くために畑へ行きました。かぶを引っ張りましたが、大きすぎて抜くことができませんでした。

すると、ついに大きなかぶが抜けました。みんなで大きなかぶのスープを作って、一緒に食べました。とても美味しかったでしょう。
