Meaning
Used when giving one representative example to suggest that if even that is the case, then everything else must be as well.
Note
Indicates that one representative part (the most basic or obvious one) leads to a certain conclusion about the whole. It is often used for negative evaluations (e.g., 'Even their way of speaking is bad...'), but can also be neutral or positive.
Examples
あの人は話し方からして、ちょっと怖そうだ。
Judging even from the way that person speaks, they seem a bit scary.
この店は看板からして、美味しそうな雰囲気がない。
Judging even from the sign, this shop doesn't have an atmosphere of being delicious.
彼はタイトルからして、その本が面白くないと決めつけている。
Judging even from the title, he has decided that the book is not interesting.
彼女は服装からして、とても上品な人だとわかる。
Even from her clothing, you can tell she is a very refined person.
