〜っこない
Formation
Meaning
Used to express a strong, subjective conviction that something is absolutely impossible. It is highly conversational and emphatic.
Note
A strong emphatic expression used in casual speech to deny the possibility of something completely. It often translates to 'there's no way...' or 'definitely can't...'. It is more subjective and emotional than '〜わけがない' or '〜はずがない', expressing the speaker's firm belief that something won't happen. It attaches to the masu-stem of verbs.
