〜なくしては

Meaning
Indicates that the presence or occurrence of the first item is absolutely necessary for the second item to exist or happen.
Note
A formal, stiff expression used mainly in writing and sometimes speech. It emphasizes that A is a prerequisite or an essential element for B. The second clause (B) is almost always negative ('impossible', 'not happen', etc.). While 'wa' is technically optional, its presence adds emphasis to the condition. Similar to 'A nakereba B nai', but much more formal.
Examples
過去の失敗を反省することなくして、成長はありえない。
Without reflecting on past failures, growth is impossible.
現実を直視することなくしては、問題の解決は難しいだろう。
Without facing reality, it will likely be difficult to solve the problem.
細部まで注意を払うことなくしては、完璧な作品は完成しない。
Without paying attention to every detail, a perfect work will not be completed.
彼の協力なくして、このプロジェクトの成功はなかっただろう。
Without his cooperation, this project would not have been successful.
勇気ある決断なくしては、現状を変えることはできない。
Without a courageous decision, it is impossible to change the current situation.
