ない-Form
Verb
ずとも
Ex.
する → せずとも

Meaning

Used to indicate that something is possible or the case even if an action is not performed. It is a formal or literary equivalent of '〜なくても'.

Note

This pattern uses the classical negative form '〜ず'. While it conveys a similar meaning to '〜なくても', it sounds significantly more formal or literary and is typically found in written texts, formal speeches, or set phrases. For the verb 'する' (to do), the form is 'せずとも' instead of 'しずとも'.
