1The feel or sensation that something gives you. Used on its own as a noun (生きた心地がしない, to be scared out of one's wits), but most often as a suffix on a verb stem, where it voices to ごこち: 座り心地 (how it feels to sit on), 乗り心地 (ride comfort), 寝心地 (sleeping comfort).
