Meaning

Used to explain or express something that naturally follows from a certain fact or situation, or when something becomes clear after hearing an explanation.

Note

Used when a reason becomes clear or to state a logical conclusion. Often paired with 'dakara' (so) or 'toori de' (no wonder).

Examples

円安だから、輸入品が高くなるわけだ。

Because of the weak yen, imported goods naturally become expensive.

あの二人は結婚したのか。だから一緒に住んでいるわけだ。
