Domestic brands are reliable in quality, but they tend to be a bit pricier compared to overseas brands. According to a friend, even overseas brands now offer solid Japanese-language support these days, so the range of choices is genuinely wide.
選ぶ基準を整理してみました。私の場合、写真をよく撮るのでカメラの性能は妥協するわけにはいきません。それから、通勤中に長時間使うため、バッテリーが一日持つことも必須です。重さや防水機能、ストレージ容量も大事ですが、全部を満たすモデルがあるとは限りません。
I tried to sort out my criteria. In my case, I take a lot of photos, so I can't afford to compromise on camera quality. On top of that, I use my phone for long stretches during my commute, so a battery that lasts a full day is a must. Weight, waterproofing, and storage capacity matter too, but a single model that ticks every box doesn't necessarily exist.
