Inviting to Dinner

A conversation inviting a coworker to dinner after work.

同僚A

Tanaka-san, once work is over today, would you like to go to dinner with everyone?

Sounds good. Where are you planning to go?

同僚A

I was thinking of trying the new Italian restaurant near the station.

Oh, that place? I've heard it's a little pricey — is the food any good?

同僚A

I'm not sure if it's good or not, but the ratings online seem to be really high.

I see. I'm planning to wrap up today's work by seven, but what time are you heading to the restaurant?

同僚A

I've made a reservation for seven thirty, so as long as you come by then, we're good.

Got it. I'll hurry up and get this work finished, then.

同僚A

Please don't push yourself. If it looks like you'll be late, you can just give me a call.

Thanks. I'll try to get there as early as I can. Who else is coming, by the way?

同僚A

Sato-san from sales, and Yamaguchi-san, who just joined last month, are coming too.

That sounds fun. See you at the restaurant a bit later, then.
