夏休みに友達と旅行に行こうと思っています。どこへ行くか、まだ決めていません。
I am planning to travel with a friend during summer vacation. We have not decided where to go yet.
友達は「京都がいいんじゃない？お寺がたくさんあるし、美味しいものもあるし」と言いました。京都は行ったことがないので、ぜひ行ってみたいと思いました。
My friend said, “How about Kyoto? There are lots of temples, and the food is great too.” I have never been to Kyoto, so I would really like to go.
インターネットで京都のホテルを探してみました。駅の近くのホテルは便利そうですが、少し高すぎます。駅から歩いて１５分のところに安い旅館を見つけました。
I looked online for hotels in Kyoto. Hotels near the station seem convenient but are a little expensive. I found an inexpensive inn about a fifteen-minute walk from the station.
旅行の計画を立て始めました。一日目は嵐山に行って、竹の道を散歩する予定です。二日目は伏見稲荷大社を見てから、抹茶のスイーツを食べに行くつもりです。
We have started making plans. On the first day we intend to go to Arashiyama and walk along the bamboo grove path. On the second day we plan to visit Fushimi Inari Taisha and then go eat matcha sweets.
旅行の前に、新しいカメラを買っておこうと思っています。きれいな写真をたくさん撮りたいです。
Before the trip I think I will buy a new camera. I want to take lots of beautiful photos.
出発まであと二週間です。楽しみで待ちきれません。
There are only two weeks left until we leave. I can hardly wait.
