Deleting Your 2hongo Account

You can permanently delete your 2hongo account and all associated data at any time, directly from the app or the website. This page explains how, and exactly what happens to your data.

How to delete your account

In the mobile app

1.Open the 2hongo app and sign in to your account.
2.Go to your Profile, then open Security.
3.In the danger zone at the bottom, tap Delete Account.
4.Type DELETE to confirm, and enter your password if your account has one.
5.Tap Delete Account to confirm. Your account and data are removed immediately.

On the website

1.Sign in at 2hongo.com.
2.Open Profile, then the Security tab.
3.In the Delete Account section, type DELETE to confirm (and enter your password if you have one).
4.Click Delete Account. Your account and data are removed immediately.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

•Your profile and login credentials — email address, password, and any linked Google account
•Your notebooks, saved words, and custom vocabulary lists
•Your learning progress, review history, and quiz results
•Your Sensei study plan and chat history
•Your active sessions on all devices
•Your notification settings and app preferences

What is kept, and for how long

•Your data is removed from our live systems immediately and permanently. This action cannot be undone.
•Copies may remain in encrypted database backups for up to 8 days, after which they are automatically and permanently deleted.
•Records we are required to keep for legal, tax, or accounting reasons — such as records of past subscription payments — may be retained for longer where the law requires. They are not used for any other purpose.
