日本は自動販売機が世界で一番多い国の一つです。街を歩いていると、本当にどこにでも自動販売機が見えます。コンビニの前にも、駅の中にも、住宅街の小さな道にも、山の上にもあります。全国で四百万台以上もあるそうで、人口に対する数では世界一です。
Japan is one of the countries with the most vending machines in the world. Walking around town, you genuinely see them everywhere. They sit in front of convenience stores, inside train stations, along small residential streets, even on top of mountains. There are reportedly over four million nationwide, the highest number per capita in the world.
自動販売機で一番多いのは飲み物の機械です。お茶やジュースだけでなく、コーヒーやスープも売っています。冬になると温かい飲み物が買えるようになって、寒い朝に通勤する人にとても便利です。ボタンの下に赤いランプがついているのは温かい飲み物で、青いランプは冷たい飲み物だと覚えておくと迷いません。
