カプセルホテルは日本で生まれた宿泊施設です。1979年に大阪で初めてできました。普通のホテルより部屋がずっと小さくて、一人分のカプセルの中で寝ます。
The capsule hotel is a type of lodging born in Japan. The first one opened in Osaka in 1979. The rooms are much smaller than a normal hotel; you sleep inside a capsule sized for one person.
カプセルの大きさは、幅が約一メートル、高さも約一メートル、長さが約二メートルです。中にはテレビや照明、コンセント、目覚まし時計が付いています。狭いですが、寝るだけなら十分です。
